This piece is made from two heavy hood type hair dryers, a Normandie and a Rilling. Each dryer had a nose piece, middle band and lower band.  I removed the lower bands and then put the two dryers together.  I fabricated the fins from lateral file separators and the exhaust nozzle is from a small vintage personal space heater.  The nose dart is the spring from an exercise bike seat.
The space cadet's helmet is made from a 3 liter pop bottle.
